Part of my Poetry Challenge. A diamante is a 7-lined poem set up in a diamond shape.

Line 1: Noun or subject
Line 2: Two adjectives describing noun/subject
Line 3: Three –ing words describing noun/subject
Line 4: Four words—two about noun/subject, two about antonym
Line 5: Three –ing words about antonym
Line 6: Two adjectives describing antonym
Line 7: Antonym

Chained, imprisoned
Struggling, fighting, suffering
Beaten, broken, defeated, surrendered
Melting, dreaming, yearning
Loved, cherished
