Children — a Cinquain

This is part of my Poetry Challenge. It’s a cinquain, a short, unrhymed poem consisting of 22 syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2. The lines go as follows:

Line 1: Noun/Subject
Line 2: Description of noun/subject
Line 3: Action
Line 4: Feeling of Effect
Line 5: Synonym of the initial noun/subject

Children
Young little minds
Laughing, running, playing
I feel as if the world was new
Cherub
